Epoxidized Soybean Oil /ESO 

Epoxidized Soybean Oil is soluble in hydrocarbon compounds, ketones, esters, higher grade alcohols and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethanol as well.It is the most widely uesd PVC nontoxic plasticizer and stabilizer. It has low volatility and mobility, and good compatibility with PVC resin. Its high thermal stability, light stability and good resistance to water and oil endow the end products with better mechanical strength, weather resisting property and electrical property. Being nontoxic, ESO becomes a kind of auxiliaries for foodstuff wrapper with international recognition.

Function & Application

ESO can be applied to all PVC products, such as foodstuff wrapper, medical ware, films, sheet material, tubular product, sealing strip of icebox, artificial leather, floor leather, wire and cable, plastic wallpaper and other daily use plastic products. It can also be applied to making special printing ink and liquid compound stabilizer and so on. ESO can be used by 3-5 portion in general soft PVC  products to improve their thermal and light stability. When it is used together with polyester plasticizer, it can reduce the mobility of  polyester plasticizer. When it is used together with metal heat stabilizer, they will have a significant synergistic effect. The portion of other plasticizers, stabilizers and lubricants can be properly reduced when they are used together with ESO.
